Okay, this also made me laugh out loud. Sorry Walker!
I showed the pictures to Alex and he said he really, really thought Walker was neat. He thought he looked good in socks and he'd like to see more dogs wearing them.
So that's at least one person who's not laughing at Walker or feeling sorry for him. Perhaps if Walker Texas Ranger holds his head high and cops an attitude, he can start a whole new fashion trend!

Well, Walker is healed and back to looking very handsome. Brian and Megan left him with me, Grandma Connie. He has had a ball playing in the yard with Faith, the chocolate lab. One bad habit or talented one might think, is he climbs out of the kitchen over a baby gate no matter how tall I make the stuff piled in front of it and joins us in our bed at 2:30 a.m. I guess not all he does can be good but he is a sweety and we are really enjoying our time with him. Faith has already made him promise to come back for play dates.

PS It took Walker one day to figure out that when my cell phone alarm rings, that it is time to get up. So, he joins us in bed once again as soon as he hears that alarm at 6:00 a.m. Boy, I must say such intelligence makes me a proud Grandma of my grand puppy. Also, he is sleeping if Faith's bed and Faith is sleeping in his. They traded!!
I'm very happy to hear that Walker is so smart, since a member of my family is now emulating him!
When I suggested that Walker could start a fashion trend I had no idea that this would translate to humans. A couple of minutes after my last post, Alex walked into my room wearing a construction paper "cone", construction paper "bandages" taped around his middle and yes, you guessed it, great big tube socks on his "hind legs"! He wasn't kidding when he said he thought Walker was neat!
I COULDN'T MAKE THIS UP EVEN IF I TRIED - IT'S A TOTALLY TRUE STORY!
