sagrada familia

during our honeymoon, we spent six days in a little apartment in barcelona, spain. i'll be posting more on that as i get photos organized, but above is a sample. if you are interested in receiving email links to our full albums and do not yet receive them, leave a comment and i'll try to get you on the list.

the "sagrada familia" is a roman catholic basilica that has been in the works since the late 1800s. the day we went there, the elevators for tourists were out, so we took a long, winding staircase up to the tip top where there were awesome views of barcelona, the surrounding area, and the mediterranean.

I'd seen the Gaudi architecture in art history ... but the colors surprise me. It's so fantastical ... hard to believe how long ago he was designing. Thanks for sharing these! xoxo
