I took an unexpected trip to Michigan for the funeral of my Gramma's husband Ken. It was a lovely service and it has been great to be out here for it. He will be missed.

I have also had a great time with my family. Check out that belly on Jenny! And my cousin's new baby that was born while I was here!

during our honeymoon, we spent six days in a little apartment in barcelona, spain. i'll be posting more on that as i get photos organized, but above is a sample. if you are interested in receiving email links to our full albums and do not yet receive them, leave a comment and i'll try to get you on the list.

the "sagrada familia" is a roman catholic basilica that has been in the works since the late 1800s. the day we went there, the elevators for tourists were out, so we took a long, winding staircase up to the tip top where there were awesome views of barcelona, the surrounding area, and the mediterranean.
