a merry little Christmas

BubbleShare: Share photos - Safe Baby Toys

We stayed in most of the morning and enjoyed each other's company and then took the pup to Brian's parents' house. We had a nice time.

yeah, the pup won't sit under the tree through the red-eye reduction. he charges the camera and all i end up with is a big open mouth

hello megan! how are you?! it's been a long time! I just met your adorable nephew and asked m&j all about you!

hey--I have a quick question--I have to (for a class--I'm back in school, for the third time) travel to a city and write about it. But it has to be really interesting and quirky--so I thought I'd get the advice of a tried-and-true seattlite--I've been thinking about seattle; do you think it would be a good travel-writing city? any suggestions for there?

thanks! beth p.

PS, also, i have a new blog! moveablelife.blogspot.com

Seattle is full of fun and quirkiness, starting from the natural beauty and outdoorsy focus to the great food, to the many distinct neighborhoods, the crazy politicians and lots else!!! You should come here!

We don't technically live in Seattle anymore, but it is a 20 minute drive or quick train or bus ride to the heart of the downtown.

So what kind of a class is this?? What are you studying for now?

I didn't know your dog was one of the dogs from Ghostbusters...

megan! thanks for the word on seattle. it sounds perfect! i'll give you a call once I find out more of the course stuff!

Oh-it's a travel writing course--I'm getting an MFA in Creative Writing (i hope!) and teaching now. Basically, we're required to spend a week in an "interesting"--how vague can you get? ;)-- city and write about it!

It's so fun to catch up on here! I miss you! it would be great fun to see you if I do come to seattle!
